The design of a wedding album is an optional extra on top of your wedding photography package. I normally create the photo album after you have received your wedding photographs so that you can choose which images you’d like to go in the album. However I am more then happy to choose the best photos and design the album for you.
Yes – as a professional full-time commercial and wedding photographer I pride myself on professionally post-editing and optimising every photograph. I am a specialist in Adobe Photoshop and each wedding takes a couple of days to edit and tweak colours etc.
I’m more then happy to take a limited amount of group photos of family and special guests, and work to a pre-arranged list (It is best to stick to no more than 8 in total, otherwise it can take over the day!), and this can be discussed at the pre-wedding meeting. It is best for everyone if no longer than 30 minutes is spent on the group photos, and your bestman and ushers can play their part in gathering people together to help speed up the process.
I try to visit both the bride and the groom before the ceremony. I always photograph the bride first, whilst she has her hair and make up done, and capture details such as the dress and shoes and some informal photos with her bridesmaids etc. If the groom is getting ready nearby then I’ll aim to get shots of them too. If the guys are getting ready far away at a separate location and you want their part of the day capturing too, a second photographer can be booked for an additional £250 and they will stay up until after the speeches. It also means that you will get photos from different angles which might not be possible with just one photographer, such as during the ceremony.
I always advise to have a pre-wedding portrait shoot, it’s a fun and relaxed session that is a great way for us all to get to know each other, and for you both to get used to having your photograph taken. This can be done whilst we meet up to have a look around your venue or at a location that is special to you, usually about a month before the wedding day. This is also a great time to go through the plans for the day and to talk over the photographs that you want me to take.
We normally get to the bridal prep venue at least an hour before the ceremony time. We’ll try to capture the general atmosphere, photograph the dress and accessories, the end part of the make up session, and then the bridal portrait session. If for some reason, you need us to be there earlier, we’ll need to know this before the day.
Once we receive your signed contract and your retainer, your date is then fully reserved, and we will not accept any other clients for that date. The balance will be due at least a week prior to the wedding date.

One Twenty wedding photography is a great choice if Art/Style is your number one priority, but you also desire extensive documentation and a great experience. I’m routinely told that working with me is easy, fun, and relaxing. I tend to focus on the couple, but never ignore family, bridesmaids, groomsmen or the bigger picture of the event. It’s also nice that your photos will look that extra special and that you are dealing with a professional photographer, not just someone who shoots weddings at the weekend for extra pocket money!.
Varies at every event but I take an average of 1500 images in 8 hours of coverage. I then deliver 500-700. You’ll receive final touched-up images digital files as high and low res.
I bring multiple Cameras, a variety of lenses, and lighting to handle any situation. I use Canon, professional digital cameras (currently use two 5D’s mark II) Canon 5d’s are great cameras for weddings as they are well renowned for their low light capabilities and quick focusing systems, ideal for catching those important moments, even in the darkest of venues! I always carry 2 cameras with me to each wedding and an assortment of genuine Canon “L” Prime and zoom lenses. This means that not only do I have a spare camera in case one breaks during the day, but also that I don’t have to stop taking photos if I need to change from a wide to a zoom lens for example, and can carry on taking photos and not miss any important moments throughout the day.
Digital images start as color but can be processed B/W, vintage, etc at your request. Just let me know the look you are after.
